DMV Question HELP :(
Ok so heres my situation. I have a PA title and I'm in VA. I have everything correct on the title according to DMV except for one thing. The Lien Favor wasn't signed. The person listed is not listed as a owner or co-owner but is the previous owners step mother. He stated she was a co signer on the lien but was not listed as an owner or co-owner. My question does that signature need to be notarized as well? The lien was released by the bank obviously since he had the title. We got her signature but didn't have it notarized. The back side were we signed has been notarized. It had a spot for the stamp and all. The front side how ever doesnt have a box for notarization were the line to sign is. To get back to her would take a weekend trip. I'm just wondering if I should even bother going to dmv again and trying. So far what I've found online threw google is that just the owner and buyer's signatures have to be notarized. I'm so pissed..... anyway thanks for any help.

DMV Question HELP :(
I would just go to DMV then. And I've signed titles before, with permission..bought a car once that was 3 hours away, one signed one didn't, went to DMV and turned down. Called seller, she said sign it. Went back to DMV later, no prob whatsoever....but OP, in Missouri it doesn't have to be notarized. I don't get why you would need it notarized

Pa DMV says owners sig has to be notarized. I have that done. I can't find anything on the lien favor sig.
