Got a car!

I'm buying my friends 1995 Acura Integra LS. I'm stoked! I've always wanted a teggy, and at least I know the history of this one. I'd say it's about 95% stock, 70k on the engine, needs some TLC. Driving to work and back is costing me about $15/day in the ranger.

She's had it for about 4 years...and it finally happend. Stolen. The car was missing for about 4 days, and during that time we kinda lost hope, and she bought a new car. (If you know anything about 90's hondas, they are HOT in the chop-shop department) Well...today we got the call we've been waiting for..."We found your car"....and fully intact, just about. The outside keyhold is a little jacked...and they look the radio...but left a different one in the car (Other than personal contents thrown all over). She confronted them right before they sped off, and we are assuming why that's why the car was just dumped right up the road.

Right when we picked it up. I'm signing papers in a few days, just going to work on cleaning it and everything until then.

second, they stole the radio but not the rims???? dafuq?

third, it took the police 4 days to find the car right up the road? dafuq again!???

RIGHT?! Her and her boyfriend were coming back to the car, and they saw two people in it. The people speed off and they called the cops. They ditched the car because they had already been cought basically.

It took 4 days because in WA state unless they pointed a gun at the couple when stealing the car recoering stolen property is not a priority. We have to fill out a "POLICE REPORT" and then hope they stumble across the items in their daily routines. It has been that way for decades.

In other news, decent buy, except for all the stupid stories I have heard about this car! I'm assuming this is meat girl? If you need help fixing it, and installing anti theft devices, that actually work, you call.
