heat.

get a hair dryer out there, set it on the hottest setting, and blow it on there for a few minutes. should come off really easy.

depending on the decal/sticker, it may leave some gooey residue, use goof off.

X2.

Also test out the goof-off on a non visible spot, incase it messes with the paint. You shouldn't have any problems with it but just to be sure.

Also find a plastic squeegee to help lift off the edges and get an initial grip because these decals will have a tendancy to tear at some point and the plastic squeegee will make the job faster...

Wash the exterior to make sure most if not all the dirt is off the paint or protective layer.

another method is a decal removal bit for a drill, which is supposed to work really well for tough decals. i've never used one myself, i've used heat, warm soapy water / windex to help work the adheasive off, and lots of patience. depending on what i've got to work with a semi-dull razer blade, a metal putty knife and a plastic putty knife to work the edges, taking lots of care not to scratch or dig in the paint
