This is a strange one...
What would cause an automatic trans to not coast backward but coast foreward when in any gear other than park? We know the trans is shot because it wont even try to move at all under its own power. Pulled trans cooler hose off the rad while it was running and no pressure but the trans has fluid.
Im just curious to know what causes park to work normal but every other gear including neutral it wont coast backwards at all but easily pushes foreward.
Its a late 90s Subaru Impreza thats had a hard life... just put a junkyard engine in about 50 miles ago
