Hate them. Last time I went to the doc they drew blood and I must have got a shitty nurse. She could not find the vein and dug around in my arm for what seemed forever. Finally she got done and says "you're a little pale" I was super lightheaded. I said "I think I'm gonna pass out.." So she says "oh ill go get you some water." AND LEFT ME! Next thing I know I wake up in a little room across the hospital surrounded by nurses.

Lol. Yeah. So don't feel bad. It's one thing to not like needles. But I'm a complete pussy when it comes to them

Get poked monthly, for 1 drop of blood.
Just to make sure INR is within range.
Get drained quarterly, for A1C test, to try and keep diabetes in check.
Hate to think, but I go in for one, maybe both, on Monday.

I hear you because I have to "be in the right state of mind" to give blood. I try and relax, and I try and small talk with the nurse, but somehow she always lets me know it is coming. "It will be over before you realize it". I like to be in a zone and picture myself on a beach with a nude girl.
