Traded the ranger, got me a valentines gift

Well as my other thread noted i was in limbo of what to do with my breakup of my longterm girlfriend, vehicle wise that is. Went to the local ford dealership today after much searching for the perfect mix of sport and function and decided to pick up a Focus ST. I traded the ranger for 7k plus an incentive for trading a ranger. Purchased the car thru x-plan, had the 201a package and myfordtouch and power moonroof in red.

Will have pictures tomorrow since its dark out. Im planning on looking for an older ranger for hauling stuff around.

So, in the end, everything worked out OK? Awesome, and I can't wait to see pictures.

It worked out alright. I guess I just had to make up my mind. And after the test drive. I bit.

And the payments are cheaper then what my grand prix and truck together were. Super happy. Already looking at picking up a ranger on craigslist possibly to plow my driveway, and pick stuff up from menards.

Sweet. I managed to put 50 miles on my car today. So easy to be going 80 mph or faster. Lol.

Sounds like it all worked out for you in the end then.

Yeah very very easy.

But on a side note I test drove the non st model with my son in the back and he fit very well back there. Fell asleep in seconds so i figure it gets his approval as well.

What color is your Focus ST? You should tell me your 0-60 time someday. I wouldn't floor a brand new car though...even though I did that with the Mustang. Lol. How does it sound? What are your plans with it?

Its the red color they have for um, I know i shouldnt have but my buddy and i were cruising and we went 3 wide down the road me and some suby out front my buddy was wayyyyyy behind in his modded 3800 imp ss. But that suby had a lot into it. We got out onto a larger road and he took off, but i havent driven a standard in a while.

It sounds awesome for stock, plans are to let the bumper to bumper wear out and then mod it a bit once they come out with more stuff for it, but plans change and I have already found so many things i want.

The dealership i went to also adds a 20year 200k mile powertrain warranty. Have to look it over to see what will void the warranty, which is pretty much everything.

Man that is BA. That car is definitely a keeper. Take good care of it...but have fun with it and actually drive it. But you already knew that.

awesome man! I would love one of those but I just couldn't afford the car payment right now. I'm actually in the market for the ST's baby brother (the Focus SVT)
