Here is how I do it,if it's a major pain in the a$$ to swap out parts I go with Motorcraft if it is something relatively easy to swap out like a battery or serpentine belt or light bulb, muffler generic is okay it's worked for me many years...I would return it for a refund and get a MC...After market parts used to be as good as if not better years ago but China entered the picture and they turned to junk..
You might pay more to start but you save more in the end,you get what you pay for..

Agree with this 100%! I would say i buy more motorcraft parts for my fords than anything. Simply because i dont want to do it again in a week or a month.

Return that junk and tell them you wont be needing another one. Ask them if they can order a motorcraft one and out credit towards it. Yes some auto parts stores actually get motorcraft i know for sure oreilly's does. If they cant get your money back or store credit and use it for wiper blades or car cleaners.

Did you properly flush the system after you replaced the pump? Replace the lines too? If you didn't, you probably had contaminants in the system that ruined the new pumps.

Yes the whole entire steering in the truck is brand new. And everything I put into it was motor craft except the pump. Thought it was to basic to go bad. There's nothing to it. But luckily it only takes about 15-20 minutes to pull the old pump out. But I guess I will be going to get a motor raft. I hate napa

f you replaced all the old return lines, and flushed the new system, then yeah it's the pumps. I'd stay away from store brand pumps.
