The old lady's new ride...
2000 Mazda Millenia SUPERCHARGED V-6. 115k, all power options, sunroof, heated leather seats, decent Pioneer deck, etc...
So, we went out and picked her up today and she is sweet. I got a screaming deal at 4k with a free new coil pack. It seemed to run a cylinder short at 45+ and had the check engine on when I test drove it. I grab my code reader and head out...it says a misfire on 1. So, I find my bargaining chip and head back. I get the price lowered and on paper. Then a very friendly mechanic shows up and says he'll check it out. Turns out it was a bad coil pack...the mechanic mistook my salesman for another. What happened is the mechanic thought it was new inventory and he was changing the pack so the car could be sold. They had another Millenia there that was mistaken for mine. So, the price is now lowered assuming there's something wrong with it...on paper and signed. Then I found out about my free coil pack...installed! I already have a Compustar 2-way alarm/remote start ordered through the shop and it'll be in ASAP The last few days have been hell. Anybody have any ideas what to do to the car?
I'm already going to go the normal stuff...wheels, lights, tint, etc... I don't know much car stuff. Lol
