that's ^^^ a pretty good resource, but it is NOT complete and does NOT cover laws as comprehensively as actually reading the laws in your state. just click the link & click on you state.

anyways, i learned from the pdf on my state that most of the lower 48 states honors & recognize my Oklahoma conceal/handgun permit. and at the very top of the Oklahoma pdf, it states that you MUST inform the officer... else if they find out you are carrying, you are toast lol!

In MO you can carry 500 loaded pistols, shotguns, rifles, or beltfeds in your truck, fully loaded, rnd in chamber and safety off. They can be concealed or out in open, dont matter. You dont need a concealed weapons permit to do so either. If a cop pulls you over you do NOT have to tell him you have a gun or 500 on you or in the truck. Not all states are the same, if you cross state lines with a gun, better know their laws, you could get in trouble.
