Ford or chevy
well i have been raised in a family of almost all chevys. and i have always liked those better. but funny thing is, is i have owned this ford ranger for a week, and i already like ford better.
today someone was telling me how ford is found on road dead and all, and i just lauphed.
because really ford came first. =]

Sounds like you've crossed over to the good side. Chevy guys tall a lot of trash, but I have rarely seen any of them back it up. I have a buddy that has a nice 04 Z71, and brags about how is Chevy V8 and 4x4 are the best. Funny How the one time he goes trail riding with me, he ends up with a water damaged ecu, and mud in his intake runners. I drove in front of him on the same trail, through the same water crossing and never had an issue. Now he's afraid to drive on anything more hazardous than a gravel rd. lol.

I was a die hard GM guy until I owned my first Ford. That '67 Fairlane Wagon won me over, and now I pee blue.

I'll take a Ford anyday for a work truck they seem to be built stiffer and can handle bumps better. The Superdutys can handle twice the payload and towing compared to a Chev. Chevs to me are a Cadilac on wheels and they don't handle bumpy roads too much and don't have near the payload or towing of a SuperDuty. Plus the body desgin of a Chev ages quickly after so many years. My dad has a 95 F250 and it still looks nice with the boxy look. The ranger with the same Body style over there years still looks great to. I saw a 1989 F150 and it still looked like a sweet truck as well.
But One guy said they all have the pros and cons wich they do.

For trucks Ford gets my vote. However when it comes to muscle cars, as much as I like mustangs, Mopars win me over. Id piss my pants if I ever got to owning a Cuda.
