PA inspection...but no license?
ok due to a pretty much clusterfuck(i forgot to pay on a fine...court sent out suspension/warrent,me n buddy went driving n well i got pulled over, paid off the fine but still got a ticket for un licensed driving and was found guilty by the biased judge whos court caused it,its in appeals court now)..
anyway with that back story my potential to have a legal license in the next 12 months is 50/50...but my civic has a old inspection and once i get it running imma need a valid inspection on it so...can you get a vehicle inspected in Pennsylvania if you,the registered owner have a suspened license?

Why not ask someone else besides a forum of people who pretend to know everything?
The DMV in your state is a much better place to ask.

Re: PA inspection...but no license?
I don't remember ever being asked for my license to do an inspection and emissions testing. Just the insurance card and registration.

Another "bad things happened to me but it's not my fault" thread.
As far as getting an inspection sticker with a suspended DL...why the freaking hell don't you call DMV?
If you are thinking of getting a vasectomy, would you logon to this forum to ask questions???? Cancel that, you probably would.

So you broke the law, got caught, and forgot to pay the fine. And it is everyone else's fault?
Hopefully that 50/50 chance ends up as a negative.

Normally being caught driving with a suspended DL for failure to pay a traffic citation results in driving privileges reinstated when the ticket is paid as well as court costs and the additional charge fee.
Unless there is more to the story that we ain't hearing.

Re: PA inspection...but no license?
Ok 1st of all..this was not a sympathy thread,I forgot to pay the fine and ik the consequences of that,I owned up to it and paid the fine in full that night, but received a driving on.a suspended license ticket, that when found guilty as I was(by a judge whom decided I wad guilty before I even came to Court and a guilty means a year suspension, which for forgetting to pay on a fine is fucking outrageous!! so those that gave me shit for that can fuck off so if u idiots could just possibly answer my damn question and stop trolling or being a dick
Edit-I'm sorry to those who were helpful but the 2-3 idiots above whom couldnt leave the legal portion of this go

Re: PA inspection...but no license?
Pennsy does not require a valid drivers license to have a vehicle inspected. The vehicle must have an up to date registration and be insured with proof of both.

The judge decided you were guilty because... you were guilty. Duh. I don't see the travesty of justice here.

Re: PA inspection...but no license?
To answer your question, NO you do not need a drivers license to get your car inspected. Heck you could have a buddy with a license drive it to the station.
I will say (speaking from personal experience and seeing my friends not heeding my warnings) DO NOT DRIVE WITH A SUSPENDED OR REVOKED LICENSE!
If you do guess what you prob will end up in front of the judge that your already complaining about, and he will have NO pity at all on you. He will throw the book at you.
My best friend ended up loosing his DL for 12 years due to what you are thinking about doing, and now that he has it back, his insurance is insane.
However do with this info as you wish, i am only 28 he is only 29. We learned the hard way. Suck it up do your time not worth risking.
But NO you do not need a DL in PA to get your car inspected. Just pray you don't get pulled over

As of now it is yes,I have a appeals court appt on the 14th so well see after that..but to answer your question i wasnt gonna drive it to the shop no,my buddy has a licensr and I trust the guy to get it there safe. My personal opinion is that a year suspension should be reserved for blatent disregard for the licensing laws...not a guy like me who forgets a fine payment, that should be a fine n maybe a month...the punishment doesnt fit the crime.
