Ya, gas matters. There are standards that exist I am sure, but some gas is "cleaner" and just "more better" lol. They use high quality processing etc etc to produce a better more expensive product. I try to use the best gas I can afford lol. Chevron is one of the best, but its the most expensive in Vegas. Shell is expensive too.

And some one made a point about ethanol needing more volume to produce the same effect as gasoline in smaller amounts. Some one also said something about it being more oxygenated. This is alll true. Go to california, and it is about all you can find is "ethanol enriched" gasoline, which burns way faster (less mpg) and is usally pricey anyways. They use it because it burns cleaner and Cali is a green freak - which is a good thing. IMO

Lucky bastard! All we have is E10 and E85 around here. In the winter, we get the "bonus" winter blend that gives even crappier fuel mileage.
