Exactly.

I can see however if you had a truck designated to offroading and if you had a fat only then I would push it to it's limits but definitely not my dd

Wrench all you want. A wrench isn't going to pay for part that you snap or destroy. If you're breaking things frequently then you probably don't know where the limit is and continuously surpass it.

If you've got the cash, by all means spend it. It's still stupid "advice" to tell someone if they're not breaking something they're doing it wrong.

I certainly wouldn't do it if it was my only/daily driver. If it's a toy, and you can afford it, sure.

Personally, I think it's more fun to actually make it through my off-roading without breaking anything or getting stuck. It shows that I know what I'm doing, and that I have the right equipment to do it. If you're constantly breaking your truck, you either didn't build it right or you drive like a moron.

The guys that fuck up their trucks are the ones that hit the mud at 50mph in 4lo. If you're smart about it, it's really not that big of a deal.

Yeah hitting those mud pits that fast just kills you. You never know what's lurking in all that mud and water. Or how deep it is

Not to mention it's like slamming your wheels into a speedbump. You have to know what you're doing. Like I said, I've never broken anything muddin. I know ONE guy that fucked up his transfer case, but he would get into it and floor it, like a moron.

And that's probably why my transfer case is messed up. The previous owner used my truck as a mud toy. Probably part of the reason I've put almost 3 grand into my truck in the past year.

If you take your truck out, planning to break it, you're an idiot. Plain and simple.

I'd love to see your truck go through stuff I've been through. I've seen the big jacked up muddin morons try to do what I do, and they fail miserably. They have no idea how to actually do it, and I'm betting you're the same way. You just put it in 4x4 and floor it into the mud. I don't break anything, and I don't get stuck. At least not in mud. lol.
