Let's see those manly dogs.
Have a beast at home?
A hairy family member?

A family member obsessed with licking? Lol
Teenager...

He is a mod so if he says its redundant then I'd let it go at that.
But then again so is Patrick so that's probably the only reason he didn't close it on the spot

Zach can close it if he wants. The way I look at it is Id rather see 100 dog threads in the OT section then a dozen CIA, Tire size, Tuner, Cheap mods, or body lift threads.

The last post from that thread was in September of 2011. There's a million "redundant" threads created all the time and a lot of the time they get steered FAR from the thread topic. Just because it's redundant doesn't mean he needs to mention it. So what? If the search function worked properly there would be a substantial reduction in "redundant" threads anyway.
I didn't do anything wrong by creating this thread. I like dogs and take GREAT care of mine.
If it's a redundant "how do I change my oil?"...I get it. But, I tried to start a new thread for everyone to enjoy.
If you don't enjoy it...don't post. It's that simple. I don't care if they're a mod or not. Either way they're just making remarks that should be kept to themselves. It's just plain rude and a mod should be impartial and polite.
Now...if you're a dog lover...
What do you feed your beast? I used to feed mine Dog Lovers Gold but I decided to change his supplement intake.
He now gets portion controlled meals of Blue Buffalo Wilderness large breed. He gets fish oil most days and a hard boiled egg every other day.
Not to mention the piles of bones he goes through. I get big knee/joint bones from the butcher and I'll throw them in the slow cooker over nigh...he loves those.
Then I also make him treats. I'm not a fan of all the byproducts used in animal food/treats...I've seen "byproduct" first hand, and I wouldn't feed that crap to my worst enemy.
For the treats try this...get some boneless/skinless chicken breast tenders 98% fat free usually, uncooked yams from produce, fat free white rice (READ THE LABEL). Some rice has an absurd about of fat for a low or fat free food.
Cook up your rice and set aside. Peel the yams (skin is a pain later), and bake them in the oven.
Slice your chicken into small pieces THEN cook it.
Mix all of your ingredients in a big bowl, I add some mixed vegetables sometimes, then take handfuls of the mix and mash it into a ball.
Make your treats whatever size best suits your dog and throw them in the freezer.
Very healthy treat that they LOVE
