Holy crap, and only in Canada, right? However, nothing beats Canadian Maple Syrup. The Russians have Vodka as their major export, and I don't know what Canada's is, but maple syrup has to rank near the top. I honeymooned in Whitney, Ontario in Sept. 07 when our economy was about to collapse, and there was no exchange rate. My mom even told me to pick up some Maple Syrup because she knew that it would be fresher and purer than the crap in the stores here.

I was just messing with ya anyways Mike. You always have the longest posts. But really nothing wrong with that(explaining things beforehand eliminates a lot of stupid questions).

That is what I've been telling people for years when they say that I talk too much. Anyway, I prefer the term "informative" or "thorough". There are very few people on here that irritate me, and you definitely aren't one of them.

All of a sudden maple syrup is discussed, and I found this old news clip from June.

Well yesterday I went out to do a little Boxing Day shopping, I got the the Wally World about 5 mins before store opening. There was a decent sized line outside the doors but everybody was waiting patiently sipping on their Tim Hortons coffee/hot chocolates

The store opened and the line started going into the store, nobody was pushing, there was no one waiving a gun around, I didn't hear any yelling or screaming, just a bunch of happy customers eager to get a good deal.

I was there to do an exchange and buy a ps3, first I went to customer service to do the exchange and I beat the line up then I brought the exchange back to the truck and ventured back into the store to the electronics section.

The department was highly staffed and they set up a line where a store clerk would hand you a ticket for the item you wanted, that way you are guaranteed to get what you came for with the ticket.

As we were waiting in line the bakery manager handed out free cookies.
Once I got called up I handed then my ticket, got my ps3 and left the store.

I don't have any black eyes, broken arms, gunshot/stab wounds... I wasn't trampled over, pushed or yelled at either....

WELCOME TO CANADA!

Did anybody else go out for some sales?
Was it the Cambridge Walmart?!

Canadians just seem to be more relaxed and not high strung lol hence why you didn't get trampled...if you have any brains here you don't go near a shopping center on black Friday or the day after Xmas

Ha, brodie! Awesome post man! I too had the same experience..just with lack of cookies!? I went out lookin' for a few things, and got them all, all with a smile and a Merry Christmas on my way out the door. I picked up a beauty of a tripod onsale, a cut off saw, some pliers, C-Clamps, ya know, typical shit from Canadian Tire :P Didn't venture into walmart as its usually pretty hectic in there. I am finding that Canada is participating more in the Black Friday sales, then Boxing Day. The deals are becoming less of "deals" now.

And lol , you got that right. I have seen videos from Black Friday shoppin' down there..you guys are nuts.

For one damn second, can you guys stop with the Canada is smaller so there is less violence. Thatss bullshit and you know it, violence would be proportional. If we are smaller, maybe we would have a shootout once a week, not once a day.. Its because we are nice to each other, we HOLD DOORS OPEN FOR STRANGERS!
