Almost all relationships start because a guy/gal is attracted to them. You dont need a reason other than you think shes very pretty and you would like to get to know her.

man up, be stong. You got 50k ranger guys here who have your back!
Well crap now I HAVE to go and do something even if I end up making a fool of myself haha

I guess I might as well tho, right now there's nothing..and if she says no then its the same nothing. Nothing to lose. I'll just avoid target for a long while out of sheer embarassment

10:1 she has a boyfriend haha

Thanks guys

x2 on what Pooleo said.
It's worked before, it will work again. Hopefully it works for you. I had some chicks ask for my number in the drive thru line once, and I gave it to them.... and then, like an idiot, forgot to save their number before I deleted my text messages (back in the day).

Go for it man!!!

I hope it works for me too! I appreciate all the encouragement tho! I'll be out of town tomorrow and I should probably fix the door handle before trying anything haha
Try to take her out "Yea can you get my door? I broke it when I was...uhhh...proving how STRONG I am!"

And that sucks dude! I'm guessing they weren't regulars in the drive thru?

Sadly no, lol. And they were in a lifted Toyota T100 too!! I was so mad at myself man, it was annoying!

And yes, it's a good idea to not take a girl out in a vehicle that's even slightly Janky, lol. Door handle shouldn't be too hard to fix, and it makes for a good story too.

Just be sure and keep us posted, ok? WE MUST KNOW!! lol

----------

On another note, I like the visor thing on your Ranger. Good lookin truck man.

Aw man coulda showed off with your Ranger! Haha it's rare around here to find girls with trucks. Or girls that like trucks lol

And in that case I'm probably at the worst point in my truck's history as far as impressing a girl haha
I'm pretty much in the middle of everything at once so its kind of a rolling mess
Lifted but not leveled and stock wheels/tires, wires hanging out of the dashboard, lights and speakers in the cap not yet hooked up, unfinished center console...
When its done it'll be cool but in the meantime hopefully she'll bear with me haha
I'll be sure to keep you guys posted

As far as the door handle goes I found a replacement at Advance. But its gloss black, instead of the dull grayish black handles I have now. So now I have to replace both sides to avoid any MORE 'jankyness'. And the Haynes Manual says to "drill out rivets" so I'm not really looking forward to this lol

And thanks, I love my visor
Are you talking about the Lund one on the cab or the ghetto fairing I made on my roof?

You know how I've always hit on cashiers? Pay with your credit/debit card and when you have to sign the little digital thing, put a smiley face after your name. They always get a kick out of it, and it opens the door for a short conversation.

Maybe I won't do that. And I'm pretty sure they do PIN's there instead of the digital sig lol

I think I'm going to go with pooleo's idea of giving her a small note explaining things; I've taken a fancy to her but don't have the time at the register and could we maybe meet up sometime. I gotta do somethin, life is short and I got a not-so-friendly reminder today.

Was on a solo road trip up north jersey today so I had all kinds of time to think, and on the way back the GPS took me down some long windy wooded roads. So I'm crusing along, heated seats on and windows down, radio up and just feelin good. Then all the sudden KITCHEN SINK comes flying at me at like 60mph. Damn thing fell of the truck in front of me. I'm f-ckin standing on the brakes, tires screeching, skidding in sideways to a stop with my horn blaring. The motherf-cker never stopped.

I was pissed off and after I moved it I raced down and caught the guy at the next light and told him off. Then I realized holy crap I could've almost just died.

At the time I had a 4x4 4Runner, so it woulda been a "Toyota Thing" lol. It's been nearly 5 years ago now, but I still kinda kick myself for it now and then.
Good luck with the rivets man, those things can be a pain in the butt. Drilling them out isn't so bad if you know what you're doing, but reinstalling them can be a pain if you don't have a pneumatic rivet gun.

I'm guessing the Lund one?? the one that has marker lights in it, kinda hangs over the windshield a bit?

Yep. So now I've had everything thrown at me while driving. INCLUDING the kitchen sink.
Deer, cats, squirrels, cigarettes, soda cups, a runaway shopping cart.. Really wish I had a brush guard haha

No worries, I'm OK and nothing was hurt or damaged (except the sink that was pretty much destroyed). Gotta have a laugh and move on

Haha that sucks, having the 'Yota probly wouldve worked out better for you. No brand rivalry lol

The rivets were a major pain. I've drilled out plenty of 1/8" pop rivets but they have center holes in the caps. These had to be drilled from the outside, the inside had 3 tabs sticking out at 120degrees. Kinda like a flower pattern. But on the outisde the rivet has the pul stud right in the center so the drilling was off to the side.. Got it to work with some elbow grease and a prybar (Wouldn't really suggest that to gys with newer/nicer trucks tho haha) and put the new one in with some 1/4"x1" carriage bolts. It works lol. Only did driver side so far.

And yea thats the Lund Moonvisor..kinda rare since I believe they stopped making them. Gotta get lucky and find one secondhand lol
