Default Probably the best Ford ad ever produced.

This is a great ad and my hats off to ford for putting it together, pretty classy.

thats a good question and its sad they got treated poorly but i dont think it still holds true. i cant imagine how i would have felt getting off the plane from my tour overseas had i been treated the way alot of the Vietnam vets were, although i was spit on by a towel head at a gas station when i was in uniform heading back to iraq from my leave, i could have killed that man. thats why i show my appreciation for any era war vet whenever i get the chance.

wasn't saying that at all. but i see more solders today being honored.
I've went to different stores and if a guy /or lady is behind me that i know is a vet.(most I've seen have hats and patches proudly displayed.) I'll open the door for them and say thank you for your service and some look at me like I'm on drugs and others will say thank you. just goes to show the difference in people's attitude.

I still don't understand that. The only time in history I think it ever happened. My brother and I both served and proud to do it only to come back to be ridiculed for it. Some messed up opinions back then.

i agree with your messed up opinions. you chose to risk your life for your country in the military. I've chosen to risk mine as a volunteer fire firefighter. after 911 I'd say we're on the same page maybe. risking our own lives for different reasons but still involves the us citizens.
