Attention MN Members.... Question For You
So I've been looking for a job in Minneapolis. I know it's not an easy task and not the best time but I'm trying it anyway. My question is do you people not use craigslist!? I know in Seattle it's easy to find PAGES of jobs listed for the current day and that's just not the case in Minneapolis. I mean, your population is 2/3 of ours but I'm still shocked at how few jobs there are listed. Should I be looking somewhere else or is everything just that scarce out there?? Thanks!

lol, well what kind of job are you looking for? what part of Minneapolis? yeah, jobs are pretty hard to come by. CL isn't the best place to be lookin either, but it's a start. i guess it all depends on what ur lookin for.

In Seattle CL is the place to look... is there a better place for that area that I can look online??
Honestly I need something that'll pay the bills. I need a job that will allow me to move out there... ideally it'd be in a vet office or auto shop and probably gonna have to start as receptionist... I'm up for just about anything though as long as it covers the truck payment and cell phone bill.

Haha... well the boyfriend is making the house payments... I just have to pay for the truck if I want to keep it.... lol

we use craigslist here in MN. usually, there are lots of jobs listed.
Now, what you consider lots might not be the same as me. for example, just today, i noticed over 45 notices in the "food/hospitality jobs" (in a one day listing) most other type jobs usually have between 5-50 job notices.

I typed in "veterinary" in Seattle and get about 20 jobs in the past 2-3 days... on Minneapolis I get 7.... period :-(
