Think im clostraphobic...I almost always have my window at least cracked...even when its freezing and snowing...I dont have a heater either...The billet on the steeringwheel gets mighty cold. Wll, the heater core is out and I would rather just go without instead of pulling the dash.

You have an issue then, you shouldn't have any problem with the AC and running city.

nope. the ac compressor jacks so much power from the engine at idle. if i have the ac on at a dead stop and try to accelerate it bogs

There is a switch that is supposed to kick off the ac clutch during turning and when you are under heavy load, so that doesn't happen. I have a ASE certification in AC, you have an issue as far as I can tell

Yup, if I was down there I'd run through it with you and see if there actually is a problem. I can have the ac in my Sonoma cranked and no problems at all, same in the Ranger, the ex's car, etc. You shouldn't be bogging with the ac on period.
