That change to unibody is part of the death of the Rangers. Though the Explorer frame was different..sections of it were the same. The end of frames for the Explorer helped justify the end of the similar Ranger frames.

I still dont get why everyone is upset about this...My 95 has 200k miles and still goin strong...Everyone on here either has a bigger truck or wishes they had one...The world aint gonna run out of used rangers in the next 20 years and if you want a new truck, get the big ass f350 yall keep drooling over.

But Ford is investing 850 million in 4 Michigan plants (1,200 new jobs coming to a state that needs it) and that new small cross over is gonna be built in another state I think.

I'm not druleing over any full size trucks. I wouldn't have got a 2011 Ranger if what I really wanted was a F-350..

Good news for you...If there are 85s out there still, your 2011 if going to last you for at least another 25yrs if you take care of it. How old will you be in 25yrs? How much shit changed in the last 25yrs? Whats to say it wont make a comeback or they do another midsized truck in 10yrs?
