Re: FRF Afterhours
oh believe me i could give you the basics on this car ... it runs 550 hp on pump gas 720 on race gas. it used to be 700 but he got new ET Street Radials. running on pump, his boost is set to 18lbs. no nos kits, no bottles, no nothing ... only thing we use nos for is for racing during the summer to cool your shit off quick open a bottle right onto the engine and it'll cool it down and you're ready for the next run. thats just the basics ... no details for you guys

Re: FRF Afterhours
more than likely because they're made for dry weather and road racing.
others during this time have wet weather and drag radials.

Lighter tire, more power to the wheel, stickier compound will hold better translating to the same thing

Re: FRF Afterhours
i know for a fact that it ads 20 hp. you can see it in the races. i don't think its because its lighter ... it doesn't have any glue on it ... it handles better in turns...muuuch better. our only issue is we can't launch with them due to no glue

Its all about stickers.
And then it'll race a 500hp subbie and lose miserably.

Less weight means less rotational mass, needs less power to turn, so you have less parasitic draw of power, meaning you will see a bigger number on a dyno or a faster time on the track, also a softer compound tire can do essentially the same thing because it grips better pushing more power to the ground..
