And asus does some pretty good parts, and they produce for mac/hp/dell, i think they are pretty much up to par with acer

i was talking to some staff at best buy yesterday and they said asus makes alot of internal computer parts for other brands, they just started making their own laptops. i'm just wondering if they are a pretty good machine

Customer service in BB is way better than Walmart though. Almost annoying at times because one person is like "CAN I HELP YOU SIR?" and I'm like, "no thanks man, I'm fine" then like 5 mins later another is like "OMG HAI HOW R YEW DOING"

For sure.

But walmart in canada only uses their customer service for refunds and such, they don't have people paid to lie about needing to pay 50$ for an anti-virus or 100$ for backup dvds of the os like at BB.

Employees can be switched from clothing to car parts to electronics, as long as they can operate the register, it's fine (lol!).

Although i wish we had enough employees around to be harrassed like that, sometimes i almost have to get into a fight to get to talk to one.

customer service at walmart doesnt cost me money. BB will be like "sorry you didnt purchase the $300 extended warranty so it will be $400 to fix, but you can buy a new one with this and this upgrades for $550." Then I say I did purchase the warranty, thats why my computer costed $1400 fucking dollars. "oh well we cant find it in our system." If you cant even find my fucking warranty in YOUR OWN system, then why would I want you to touch my shit? Ive known 3 people that paid cash and bought the service/warranty, and everyone of them could not be found in the system. Not to mention I had them install my graphics card just so they wouldnt void my warranty...which they couldnt find in the system anyways. Fuck BB, fuck it in the ass, and damn everyone that works there to hell...I just want to catch one of those geek squad fucks somewhere there isnt cameras.

that's because the warranty is held by a 3rd party, it has nothing to do with bb, and if you read well into the contract, not much is covered.

i hate it when i'm pushed to buy one of those warranties, the employees talk so much crap, that they make it seem like everything they sell in the store will break in days, so i exit without buying anything. I mean, why would i buy stuff that's so unreliable?
