the clicky thing should be a ratcheting mechanisim to hold the ebrake at its current spot so i guess you should just be able to grind off some of the teeth i would leave like the last 2-3 tho so you can still use it when your parked

Thanks for the advice, fortunately I don't even really need it that much considering I'm in an Auto. However, when I buy a manual one I might wanna remember that.

yeah and thanks for reminding me that i need to get the parking brake cable off my donor truck before i get rid of it because my trucks parking brake saw so much use that i snapped the damn cable haha

If your going to fab your own pedal there's a few ways to do it

Haha my pleasure.
I'm considering buying a M/T 4cyl Ranger, and giving myself a 4 pedal setup. E-brake pedal on the left, room for my foot to go in between that and my clutch, then the rest of my pedals.
But for now I'm running A/T so I'll have to go in between D, 2, and 1 to change my rpms in turns.

Set it up like a gas peddle to where when u push in the top moves in towards u in turn tightening the cable. You will have to figure out some kind of track/slider though for the cable to ride in so it's smooth and not contacting the body
