I love doing it. Makes me feel like I'm doing my part to save the planet. Im an avid canoer/kayaker/camper so I enjoy it. In the pic background there is a lake. It's one of the largest watersheds in Al. so I kinda feel like I'm doing some good, as minute as it is.

hey not minute at all. i'm huge into saving our planet. i too am an avid outdoors person, i have a lot of respect for mother nature and what she does, and power she has. i hate seeing people destroy it. not saying that i am in any way perfect but i do my part.

speaking of camping n two weeks ill be in Louisiana camping for a week down in the baton rouge/new orleans area. I can't wait one place i have never been and always wanted to go. if only the beaches were open it'd be perfect, but because of this tragic oil spill everything is closed.

hmm sounds interesting with the apple jelly. never tried that but it does sound good.

If you are in the SW part of TN I'd recommend this area. Jack's river area. Start of the App. Trail. We spend a lot of time in the area.

I'm about 1 hour NE of Birmingham. Town called Gadsden. Originally from Rome GA about 1 NW of Atlanta.

IF you're ever down this way let me know. Tons of places to go and see. I work 7 on and 7 off so I get tons of mini vacations. Just came off a 6 day canoe trip with 3 of my friends. Going to do it again in 2 weeks. Great fishing river. We had a beaver come up to the waters edge and plop down a clump of river grass. we were about 5 feet from him and he never moved. He ate and started to clean after about 30 mins he just looked at us and casually went on about his merry way. I'll put he pics on my usb and post tom.
