got any pictures of the setup? i want to do that to mine eventually once i get a smooth weld in pan, frenched in the gate looks gay, and i love the idea of being able to hide my plate with the flick of a switch

No pics atm...its pretty ugly (but only from the inside), Ill be the first to admit. Its basically a mercedes window motor/regulator, just upside down...its bolted in the tailgate using these things. (similar, but strait)
Then it has a flat metal H-bar thing we found in the garage to brace behind the plate and hold it to the window motor...Ill take pics when I get it wired up.

cali requires a front plate, but i took it and my antenna and my mud flaps off about a week after i got my truck lol
