from what other guys have had 6.0s in our wittle trucks run like low 12's. i wanna build it up before i put in, heads, cam, long tubes, bigger TB, tunnle ram intake and then kenne bell supercharger. make it somewhere in the 10's. but thats my very last mod and about 10gs right there. i have alot of mods left till i get to the V8

the supercharged cobra motors? i bet the 5.4 lightning motors will smash in the rangers. we have had one guy put the LS7 Z06 motor in a colorado, we have a couple guys put in the LS2 GTO motor in, there was a custom turbo I5 making like 350hp, stock internals. our motors they dont make much. all i know of is one got custom cams made but werent worth the money. as for rods, pistons, cranks thats all one off stuff. IMO just V8. were kinda stuck with our I5's with performance. all i have left is e-fan, ported tb, tune and thats just about it....to turbo or charger mine might as well use that money to V8.

There's been a couple cobra rangers I believe but I'm not positive I know on the show trucks they are putting a modular v8 in a b2300 so if that fits I'll sure as he'll make a svt cobra motor fit lol

God damnit...can shit not just go right for a week strait? So I went to on a wild goose chase for a little LED light strip and ended up paying $17 for one thing with 3 leds that I knew wasnt going to work, but I got it anyways...Put it on...and I give it a month before I get pulled over for not enough light on my tag...
Omw home to hook up the taglight, my system starts acting funny...I pull over and both subs are moving, but not making much noise...Im like 5 minutes from where I was going and no one was out, so I just messed with the CD player while I drove to my destination...Everything seems to be fine, but my CD player was hot enough to cook an egg in the back...and The subs fade in and out...It doesnt seem to be a power problem either...They keep moving, its just like someone is turning my bass way down, then way up. any ideas? |
