yea it is really gross, but like i said kinda cool to watch progress
speaking of bugs i found a baby praying mantis today the thing is like a half inch long. i make a little cage for it with some small bugs in it im hoping it will stay alive so i can watch it get big then ill release it

i know! it does this cool thing where it rocks back and forth right before it attacks another small bug its so cool! ive never seen one this small though its literally like half an inch long and the legs are seriously as skinny as a human hair! i was just sitting outside reading and it found its way to the edge of my book.

Hang on to it for a while. As gross as this is going to sound, lay a steak/pork chop out and let the flies lay some eggs on it and collect a few maggots. feed it one the day you get them, and freeze the other 3-4. Tie the maggot in a piece of string and dangle it in front of the mantis to get it to eat.

haha yea thought about biology because i always loved animals, bugs, etc. but being a college drop out turned mechanic turned soccer referee/organic farmer doesn't make for a very good resume lol
