If you can find a pic of those connectors, id appreciate it...pretty sure there is 4 wires, but think the 4th is the wire for the running lights (the little one on the inside) that was supposed to stay on any time the truck is on and the brights arent, but he wired it so it only comes on when the headlight is on. IDK, think Ive got a good idea of how to do it now...if not, Ill just set myself on fire in the truck and be done with it. Thanks man, you have no idea how much you've put my mind at ease...was about to vomit, ive been worrying myself so sick.
EDIT: nevermind, I see you posted a pic, thanks man.

Re: FRF Afterhours
No problem buddy sorry I forgot you mentioned projectors also you want to makesure your fuse is less than your switch so like a 15-20 that way it pops before your switch or lights and that it's inline before the switch that way your not running direct hot wire to your switch inside the cab that could cause a fire hazard
Edit: lf the toggle switch setup works great but personally I would try plugging a new dimmer switch into the system to see if the lights come on then, since everything but the headlights come on now, of that worked it be a more perminet fix and no more toggle, all in all that be the better way to go less chance of failure while driving at night, but for now I see no problem with the toggle setup as a temp fix until you have alittle more time for trouble shooting

So you think I should put a fuse between to headlights and the toggle... and then between the battery and the toggle? Yeah, no time for trying to bring it back to stock...the domelight is hooked up to a toggle too and is no longer stock...plus Imma have a hole in my dash from there the old toggle was lol.

Re: FRF Afterhours
No need for two fuses just between the battery and the switch you want to have the fuse before the switch that way if anything goes wrong you don't blow your switch or catch the dash on fire lol with the fuse before the switch it'll pop the fuse before anything else and like I mentioned you want to makesure the fuse is weaker than the switch so it pops first

I still don't get why you haven't used the original wiring (or replaced the wires but kept the switch and fuse location), would have made your life so much simpler.

Hoping to make it much better than stock!

because the cluster has been replaced, it has had 3 or 4 tachs, more than a dozen systems, more than 20 CD players, a PS2, screens, neons, amps, tweeters, kick panels, LEDs, multiple alarms, wires spliced for the door actuators....there are just so many wires behind the dash I wouldnt know whats stock, whats not, whats been spliced, what goes to what, what is hooked up, what isnt hooked up. When I say its a mess, its an understatement.

Cool just slap a 15-20amp fuse in there and you'll be set 25amp at the max
