that datsun was low as fuck, 36 inches from the bottom of the door (it was doored) to the roof.

Ok, I had a completely different point, but you showed your stupidity by thinking that that truck could be a '63. That truck looks more like a '72ish.

My point was this: I'm working on talking a guy out of a '63 datsun. I would have thought you would known what one of those is.

Well, After we fixed the rear end...about 5k miles later, noises started coming from the front and the back...so I dropped it off with my friend's mom's boyfriend to look at this afternoon...I just got a call back and its not good...Taking a step backwards in the lowering process. Gonna have to lift the rear end back up, replace the u-joints, rebuild the rear end, get new rear shocks, and possibly rebuild the trans...He said its a good thing I havent driven it anymore because the driveshaft was ready to come down and possibly polevault me if I was goin 70+ down the highway like I do. FML in the ******* Because my buddy and I didnt know what we were doing and my buddy didnt know what he was talking about...all the work we just did to the rear end was in vain because when we put it back in, we flipped the little brackets that the rear end sits on on the leafs and caused the rear end to be a couple inches closer to the front...bad idea. I feel like a fucking tard and about to feel a whole lot dumber when I find out how much its going to cost...I just thank God I know the people I do or this would cost more than the truck is worth...
