This is the only body style s-10 I like...with these style headlights....but its still powered by a GM and Ive never seen a reliable GM




My passenger seat is done...I love it.

I like the GMC front better in those years. Thats a 98 or newer S10, and I have 112k on my GMC, the only problems I've ever had are my own damn fault, to many clutch drops lol

Ive seen 2 s-10 auto trans's fail before 115k (both in v6) and Ive seen 1 of the same trucks headgasket go in under 100k, and another that locked the engine up at like 127k...My ex's fuel line is tearing open (above the gas tank) at less than 70k miles in her cobalt. I just dont believe GM can make a good non v8 engine.

My dad has the same v6 with the same tranny in a half ton 4wd, never had an issue and its a 95. Just gotta keep up on maintenance, I owned a 91 jimmy with 232k on it, just did head gaskets on it before it was sold and the tranny has never been open, but I can think of Fords with the same issues, it happens. We could argue that all night, to each their own my friend

not entirely sure yet looking over my options for things. like should i track down a 2.3t or should i pick up a 2.3 and put the turbo guts in it and build a custom setup. just not sure which route i want to go yet.

They should have the same guts, need to add a oil line for the turbo and do an ecu swap I believe, Mike knows more on that then I though

Ive just had bad luck with them and just about everyone I know has too...But I wouldnt mind the same body style s-10 I posted with a 350 in it.

I'm building a turbo 2.2l for mine soon. Found a block the other day....excited for it long time coming. I just need to get my GMC to Tennessee now....
