go for it. i have it for camping and stuff its a great knife. another one to look into is the Gerber LMF II its amazing my favorite knife for camping etc.

i like the gerber too but im in love with the 1211 ka-bar.. getting the serrated blade too.. 50 bucks shipped from amazon..
