Sure, depending on if you play around with gear ratios you can do about anything. Dunno why u would needa go that fast in a Ranger though lol.

I would stop at 160, 170. any faster, and you need to be very aerodynamic. I have gone almost 170 in a dodge viper, and did it with in 11 seconds. that was plenty fast for me. As far as driving, I had a taurus ex cop car with 145 speedo, and I did 137 before the governor kicked in. It was very unsafe though. Tires need to be speed rated to hold up to that kind of speeds. It would suck to have a blow out above 100mph.

well he does have one of the most aerodynamic ranger body style its the least brickish and defintly need good tires

Ive been around 150mph in a sierra with a fully built motor...It was scary trying to slow down...Would get really squirrelly if you took your foot off the gas too much...Im not worried about slowing down, Ill think about that when I get there.

Idk...interior has been all redone, exterior fully shaved and candy green, engine/trans built by his dad (originally for an outlaw dirttrack car) Its been completely redone...Over $20k invested im sure...So much so, that he cant even drive it really....It comes out of the garage about 4-5times a year.
