Lowering the centre of gravity doesn't mean better handling.

correct, larger swaybars front and rear, correct geometry, better shocks and spring work on mine have made it the most fun to drive on the curvy shit than even my ol 914 was

yes, I know that, but I dont think mine would have rolled, cause it would have been hit in the side, instead of side, then under, then on the "leg of the table"

New corvettes can be lowered more, but aren't for a good reason.

@rock: A 914 is not a good reference, imho. I'd prefer a 911 awd or something equivalent if i'd go for handling.

@small guy with the cute white truck: I said it doesn't mean, not that it doesn't modify it. Learn2build.

not true. aftermarket lowering kits, and factory lowered options are not the same thing.

were talking aftermarket here, not factory, because you could never get a truly lowered factory ranger. the splash only came 1 inch lower, and that tiny amount makes no difference.

If you lower your mustang, but change nothing else, you deserve to crash it.

The argument was lowered vs stock (not lifted). Corvettes are much higher than the competition (exotics), though.

But i get your point
