Mayor Bloomberg is a moron!
Bloomberg is letting the New York Marathon go on while people are eating out of dumpsters. Who votes these idiots into office?

Re: Mayor Bloomberg is a moron!
Yes, I agree with you. It could be a postive thing too for the city to help generate some money too!! IDK.

Re: Mayor Bloomberg is a moron!
All I can say is that I agree that it is too soon. I live 491 miles from the storm, and we were hit harder than anticipated with heavy winds and rain. Some areas lost power Sunday or Monday and will not get restored until this Monday, so naturally the residents are upset. There was a 12 year old girl rushed to the ER yesterday because she touched a "live wire" that evidently wasn't smoking. I can't imagine 10,000 runners tripping over debris in neighborhoods ravished by the storm, but I bet many don't show. Even so, I think that it is to soon to bring more people into a city, and where are they going to eat, sleep, shower, etc.? I can't believe that they will have an easy time getting into the city, run the marathon, and then, go home.

I think it is closer to 50k runners. They are kicking workers out of hotel rooms so that the runners can take the room. Bloomberg is a buffoon. Please vote theses morons out on Tuesday.
