I'm just outside Washington DC in northern MD. We're in the 50-60mph wind radius, and expecting 6 or more inches of rain.

Bring it on.

Not particularly worried about the storm itself, just the clean up. Em winds are gonna be blowing across this mountain...

Thanks! Nah, the lake is about 10ft below the grade of my house. You have to go down steps to get to it. And there is a dam to keep it from rising high enough to flood anything important. If it reaches my house, we've got much bigger problems.

Our local Lowes was busy selling generators and fielding calls to customers from out-of-state trying to stay on top of the storm, and the WV border is nearly 2.5 hours away.

I work at Lowes lol
They couldnt find another generator in the state, traveled pretty much 4 hours to our store. We had 2 left, 3 after we unloaded the truck.

I work at a Lowe's distribution center and we were swamped this weekend. We had to do " emergency picks " all weekend. Basically under the circumstances, I normally just pick pallets and stage them at a pallet strip to get thrown on the conveyor system by someone else, but with the emergency picks, I had to pick the pallets out of the racks and throw them too. Not really a big deal but it was just because they released so many picks we could hardly keep up. I was picking gas cans, batteries, extension cords, tarps, sump pumps, chainsaws and a few other items.

Generators were shipping like crazy too.

If youre in Ohio, we may be the distribution center for your store
