best rugged coldwear available IMO. My last carhartt lasted me quite a few years

dude, you are missing out! i went hunting in some 30 degree weather with only a t shirt and my carhartt. they are warm and comfortable. i used to HATE jackets and only wore sweaters until i got my carhartt. i have like 6 other jackets and the carhartt is the only one i wear. I want a camo carhartt for hunting but i need a rain proof one and they dont offer rain jackets in camo so two jackets in the next few months! camo carhartt and camo cabelas rain jacket lol

plus they are not that expensive, 100 to 150. i got the only style with a hood on it, i wanna say its duck something. now i can be comfortable and my hearing aids will stay dry!

Why when it lasts for years. I paid $75 for my first one, and it lasted me 8 years as for looking nice. I can still wear it now but the ends of the sleeves are a little raveled from use, So I wear it to work on things. Thats only like $10/year for the jacket lol

The color of mine faded a little bit in less than a year, i dont think it has been thrown in the washer. i have the tan one and because of this the next one will be darker

i have this one with the quilted flannel lining (warmest lining they provide), i really like the elastic at the bottom. it doesnt look stupid and keeps air from going up.

one in the trunk of the car, one in my truck's toolbox,
and the one i like to work in most is in the house waiting on me!

yeah, the original Duck Active jacket. My first one was that with the thin black material in Chesnut Brown. My current one is the link above with the sherpa material in Sandstone. I also have a Detroit flannel lined one in the Carhartt brown

does the neck fold stay where it is supposed to?

before i got my carhartt i wore this as my cold weather jacket. i hated it lol but anyway this is what happens to the neck fold.
