Light rain and the wind is picking up here west of Boston. My Daughter is at the University of Delaware. She is right in Sandys path. She said the rain and wind is picking up but nothing too scary yet. We both still have power!
Yesterday I did a search to see if anyone had started a Storm/ Hurricane Sandy thread....didn't find any so I started one.....I guess we have a few of them now..... we will be well covered with Sandy info!!!!!!!!!!! ---------- I just noticed the other thread in ford ranger General discussions is filled with posts that say "be careful"..."prayers for everyone"....."be safe"..........this thread is fill with phallic symbols..........lol

I knew that it wouldn't be long before we started showing screenshots of the storm and making fun of "Sandy", but they sure are funny. True story that about 5 years ago (or so)blacks starting complaining that storms are only named after "white people". Give me a break since if we did start naming storms with more appropriately ethnic names then they'd complain that they are associated with violence. That is what is wrong with the world today when everything has to be Politically Correct. Then, the Asians will complain, etc. etc. Where does it end and does it really matter that there isn't a TyQueiesa O'NeilSon Johnson III storm? I'm just happen that I can both remember and spell Sandy or previous storms, such as Isaac, Wilma, etc.
