Not State Farm, at least they didn't used to be. I was rear-ended in Jan. 03' by a guy at 8:00 in the morning during rush hour. Police came and he was cited. When I got to work, I called State Farm about the accident, and they said that they would call me back with a claim number and all that jazz, but they never did. I had a dentist appointment that afternoon and went home and slept. When I awoke and called the number for State Farm, it was after 9 p.m., and a lady answered and said "It was after hours. Call in the morning". Why even have someone there, and it wasn't a local agent, but the actual main 800 number for State Farm?

Good. Get to the police station since most insurance companies won't pay a claim w/o documented evidence of a police report.
