That POS movie did thirty dollars in damage to my wallet. The book was outstanding, however
I saw this movie at one of the last drive-in's in the area, and I almost completely made out with my girlfriend at the time (now my wife), so I really wasn't focused too much on the plot.

Don't forget. The news is reporting more gloom that "power companies are on stand by and it could be days before power is restored" if the storm should knock out the electricity. I hope that necessary preparations have been made by all and that all FRM members are O.K.

I'm in south eatsern PA... Pretty much dead center where this storm is supposed to go. Apparently we're already in a state of emergency. My town and the surrounding towns will probably flood again, should be real interesting... Hopefully the power stays on but we have a generator and probably 2 weeks worth of food

We have a generator that powers the whole house. And a few gallons of gas that we usually use for lawn mowers ect.
We built a little "hut" for the generator.

Other then that, nothing really.

And my dad did just reminded me about our neighbors huge tree thats cracked in half and if it falls its coming strait into my room. Time to move into another room.

Unfortunately, that is still enough to cause problems. I know here that leaves are still on trees, and with heavy winds and rain, it could be enough to bring the limbs down. Also, it really doesn't take much to disrupt travel, and airports I heard usually close when winds approach 55/60 mph sustained. That is enough to disrupt airline travel and freight -- especially Fed Ex whom I used to work for. The original company Federal Express, now renamed FedEx, is the air division, so I would expect delays in shipping on the whole East Coast as this storm plays out.

Were suppose to get dumped on with rain.. around 4", or 100mmish by friday next week! Should be fun, it'll close down some roads around here that get flooded regularly, and were suppose to have some gnarly winds too. I know my Ranger can handle it all and if it can't, well, we have the Hummer for such an event. My mom wants us to get the boat out of storage *rolls eyes*

Either way, I'm excited! Might bust out the dirt bike if we get enough rain, I love hydro-planing!

^ Yeah, the soldiers that guard the tomb of the unknown soldier. I have tremendous respect for them, and I once watched a PBS special and learned a whole lot, for instance there are truly only a few chosen to do that specific duty and they have very stringent standards, like signing a petition to abstain from alcohol while on that assignment. Also, they live below in a space with barely enough room to stand and dress. Next, rain, snow, sleet, or hail they are out there, and I think I even heard that in rare circumstances (maybe even now), they are granted an exemption from guarding, and guards have actually turned that down.
