Question Lasik

Anyone out there have lasik done? Curious about everyone's experiences with it.

So, let me know how it went for you.

Thanks.

A guy I used to hang out with had it done, his eyes were super sensitive after he had it done (probably had something to do with the fact a laser was in his eyes manipulating things) but after everything healed he said he really liked it.

I had it done 5 years ago, awesome, took about 5mins each eye, an uncomfortable gritty feeling for a few hours, back to work next day though and I have 100% vision.
I forget how lucky i am actually as I just take it for granted now!!
Awesome, I paid 1200 for it, it's now about 750

So what about $1000? Maybe a little more, no thanks to the worthless $ bill.

Had it in 2003. I'm still 20/15. Procedure was at 4pm. Gritty feeling was gone by 9pm. Woke up at 6am with perfect 20/15 and no side effects.

Are the glasses only for reading? They say for most over 35, they may have to start wearing reading glasses. But that goes for many who do not even get lasik...

Did you all have a shite load of different eye drops you had to use for the month afterwards?? I have one I started today for day before (antibiotic) and use for the next week as well. Then I have another, some sort of steroid that I use for 2 weeks or 4 weeks (paperowkr is at home) and then a lubrication that I use for 4 weeks.

I only had some antibiotics and generic artificial tears for a week or two I think.
