Never really had much results with creatine. I used one phosphagen hp and it seemed to help some.
I did get good results from gaspari nutrition stuff. Superpump 250 was awesome and novadex xt was great both helped out a lot.

Re: FRF Watercooler / BS Thread IX
now i'm just trying to figure out/ weigh out what protein source i should stick to.
i love all kinds of meat! bu ti want to watch my cholesterol & sturanted fat, so that takes care of most land animals, and honestly, tuna & salmon is getting kinda old lol!
i ilike egghwite powder alright - no cholesteral - but it tastes bad unless you load it with extra sugar...
whey mixes have a lot of sugar too & some cholesteral...
i don't know what i should do lol!

Most studies show eggs red meat can actually have positive affects on cholesterol levels. The big thing is keeping excessive simple carbs down.
When I lost the 100lbs I ate eggs red meat almost everyday. I used isopure protein the cream flavors (the fruit flavored suck) everyday. I never cut any meat out and went to the doctor for a physical and almost all my numbers were perfect. Even when I wasn't working out but watched sugar intake and ate all the meat and eggs I wanted my cholesterol was still fine. I did a slightly modified Atkins. I pretty much followed it but after a workout I would take one scoop of sugar with two scoops of protein powder. The sugar is needed for insulin spike to help in quick aid of muscle rebuilding
Diets that are high protein high carb with low fat also produce similar healthy results. I just like low carb better it's easier to do day to day

Re: FRF Watercooler / BS Thread IX
yeah, i have to watch my simple carb limit. my dad is diabetic, my dad's dad was, and my mom's mom is. so i know i need to watch it pretty closely.
they all have cholesterol problems too - so i feel like i have to be really pro-active about it.
----------
but yeah! eggs & beef are still a staple! i certianly feel better when i'm eating good like that!

Yeah my grandma and mom have diabetes and that was one of the reasons that turned me around. The night I was winded after putting clothes in the washing machine i sat on my couch and decided it was time to change. Next day I quit smoking and joined the gym.
Pro active is the best way. I find it's best to listen to your body. Eat the heather stuff you like. No matter what it's better than a #1 at McDonald's. I eat gauge how I feel and how my performance is and I go with it. Once a year I go to the doctor and make sure all my levels and vitals are the same or better.
I have found eating eggs and red meat and chicken daily keep my performing good losing weight and my vitals on a good level so I stick with it.
I seem to be avoiding a lot of my family's usual health problems do I'm sticking with it.
Not to mention I feel so much better.

I can understand giving up the fast food, but some vegetarian's feel great (or at least they say so). I think if it works for you then great. I, personally, think that giving up steak every once in a while is unnecessary and too difficult. I belive in moderation and genetics. Some of my family members smoke (I used to up until about 4 years ago), yet they are the healthier ones. My dad, for instance, smokes and besides high blood pressure, which is common for his age, has a little high cholestrehol. That is why it is important for balance.

Re: FRF Watercooler / BS Thread IX
I tried to be a "vegetarian" for about a week. I had diarrhea, runs, felt like crap.
said "no way" ate a big mac and felt "normal" again.

Re: FRF Watercooler / BS Thread IX
Hey guys quick question: in the engine bay right behind the battery (i think) is this round black thing that has a sticker on it that says "4X4" and has a metal thing underneath it with a few hoses attatched to it, what is this? It would make sense if my truck had an electronic shift Tcase but it doesn't.. It also doesn't make any noise when you shift in and out of 4x4.
