actually not, she was barely a year old in that pic. i had to get rid of her when she was about 16 feet long and about 140 pounds

what type is it? we are having major issues with burmese pythons in the everglades eating alligators.

that is a reticulated python. bigger, faster and more aggressive than the burm python, although i had those too. at one point in time i have about 30 thousand invested into my snakes

and please, dont even get me started on the f_ing idiots who dont do any research when they buy a pet. i am FIRMLY against dumping animals into wild areas where they can do massive damage

lol.....so why if your so experienced in keeping snakes and obviously know that the reticulated python and Anaconda hold the world records for weight and length did you buy one?

I too have had all kinds of reptiles, I've never given up an animal because it's grown to big and become to much to handle?
You knew it was gonna grow that big right? So why buy it?

i didnt get rid of them because they got too big. I have 5 kids and lost my job(work went overseas) it hurts everytime i think about them, i miss them so much. if you would still be working locally(i drive truck now) i would still have them

ever see this picture lol

i understand owning certain snakes, but pythons are just too much imo. i guess up where you are though if a big snake does escape it will not get too far due to the cold, down here they thrive though because its a lot like where they come from
