fluffy, the largest retic in captivity, was kept in a 6x3 cage. and she was 24 feet and almost 300 pounds. as for trying to from being eaten, there are some tricks. Feeding them animals that are dead before they get it, reduces their williness to strike. that and i never handled anything over 14 feet without someone there, holding a bottle of jack daniels

Hmm. So what happens when your asleep and it thinks you look like a big dead animal?

Do they recognize you and know you're its friend like other animals. Or do they just not care as long you aren't its lunch?

Reptiles don't really give a shit if you raised it from an egg to a 24ft monster.
if your asleep and it's hungry....your lunch.

The End.

Why a bottle of liquor? Would dowsing them in it cause them to react a certain way or something?

Yup, Reptiles HATE alcohol, if a snake bites you or a monitor lizard or any lizard/Snake then pour some liquor into its mouth and it will let go like a shot!

Its harmless to them in effect, but like someone pouring salt or lemon juice into an open wound to us!

It takes a special kind of person to willingly own a pet that will silently stalk you as prey each day.
