Here is a picture of my old dog, we had to get rid of her because at my old house we had train tracks behind the back yard and people were throwing big rocks at her 'cause she was barking at them (they shouldnt be back there) anyways we didnt want her to get hurt and no one to be home to help so we found a new home for her
I have moved now and i am hoping to get another dog sometime soon

Nah, theres no way... she was the type of dog that loved the outdoors, it could be -15 Celcius and we would have to bribe her with treats to come in... we were lucky the people we found for her were really nice

no one is saying it didnt hurt. just chill out man. the vet gave him pain meds and he got them twice a day like he was soppoused to and all he did was sleep for weeks till they were healed. and to make you feel better he slept in MY bed under my comforter i still have the blood stains on my sheets too. so please dont bash what you dont ask about nor what you only hear about. i did everthing i was soppoused to do to keep them clean and shaped. and he has by no mean a hard life he sleeps in my bed with me and all day even when im not home he roams the entire house and ill even catch him sleeping on the leather couch watching out the windows and door. he has food out ALL the time he gets fresh water every day in a bowl that gets cleaned every week. so you might say wrong but thats your opnion and thats fine. but dont sit there and tell me that is dog abuse cause its not if i did it myslef or it was done at some guys house then yea but it was done at a clean and very repectful vets office and i took all the after care for him and like i said he got his pain meds like he was soppoused to so he would be as comfortable as possible

from what i can tell rockwerks like to talk crap about anything that catches his fancy, regardless of if he knows what hes talkin about or not.
cropping has been done for centuries. With some breeds, is MANDATORY in the breed standard to have cropped ears, or you cannot show that dog. Dogs werent seen as much of house pets back then, therefore they didnt get regular cleanings, wich can lead to ear infections and other problems. Not to mention dogs with long hair, when that hair knotts, it hurts with every movement they make. by cropping their ears, they become easier to clean and less of a health risk.
Now what stupid ass minorities do to their pits is not a breed standard or a help to the animals health. thats only done to make them look more mean. and if you want to talk about cropping, how about the pits that get all but a half inch of their ears cut off? like the poor blue nose on the left.

since we are now in modern non barbaric days all breads on AFC have either clipped or natural ears without penalty.......see most of the world has moved past it. I would never do it to any dog I own as it is not necessary unless you plan to fight the animal. To each their own but it is still surgery and painful and needless. Your dogs are beautiful by the way!
AKC ear standard for pits:
Quote:
EARS - Ears are high set and may be natural or cropped without preference. If natural, semi-prick or rose are preferred.

those arent my dogs, id never own a pit.
i know what they are capable of and do not fancy the idea of having one in my house. my neighbors had a pit years ago, and it mauled their 4 year old son so bad his face is STILL not fixed.

i would never fight my dog and i would be very upset if i caught him trying to fight another dog or animal. so just cause i had his ears croped doesnt mean hes going to be fighting any...... well maybe with me and his toys but thats about it. dont let other races get your mind into thinking what it does that can make you a very closeminded person and thats not a goodthing to be.

Can you translate into English? Everyone in the house has read it and no one has a clue what you mean
