riding shotgun

the old owner was too cheap to bring her to a vet so he gave her a shot and it turned into a small tumor that was removed she is great now

her name is angel..... she weighs about 85 punds .....we got this dog a year ago she was just a year old and the owner didn't know what he was doing with her and it turns out she is one of the smartest dogs we have ever owned. these dogs get bad raps cause they are part pit bull part mastiff well im here to tell you she love everyone she will lick you to death but by god don't come in the house when your not suposed to or try to open my truck with her in it lol

Talkington, I hear you on the pittbull story, ours gets some very worried looks when he's off lead, he's still young but VERY bright, we even get people crossing the street with their smaller dogs which annoys me to be honest!! he looks very similar to yours I think!!
He's really mental if someone comes in uninvited, he was like that without any training,
always plays nice with other dogs and we have always socialised him which is the key.
pitts are banned here in the uk, he's about as close as you can get.

At 14 monthes now he is 66lbs, his father was 101lbs but I think by the time he has filled out he will only ge to about 80lbs max.

Love him to bits, my first dog, great with my kid and never thought I'd get as attatched to him as I have.

What a sap!!

lol

i know what your saying lol i just took her in with me to go pick up my truck from the tire place and they loved her lol... yea those pics are a little old but now she looks more mature. also we are trying a new leash thing on her cause she likes to pull when you are walking her so we got a german pinch collor to keep her from lunging so then we got her the "gentle leader" and believe me it works wonders!!!! are dogs are very similar and like you this is my own personal dog i helped raise my parents dogs when i was younger but this dog is my own and im in the same boat as you i have gotten quite attached to her she loves playing with toys too lol

Been a tough year for us and our dogs. We had to put down my shepard who was 15+ and had been with me for 13 years 2 days before Thanksgiving. Then the Golden we had to put down on Christmas Eve he was 8.

Going to check out new golden puppies tomorrow. I cant be without a dog for long!
