Default Bed liner

Is this a good deal? Been meaning to get one. What do you guys think of these as opposed to spray on? I'm 56mins away according to my maps.

I have one. Definitely works and if it's cheap I'd go for it. It will rub the paint off on the back edges of the bed though. And people say if u don't clean under it every once in a while it will wear a hole in the bottom of the bed. But other than that I like mine and it serves its purpose and looks better than a roll on one after it has faded

The price isn't bad as long as they have the mounting hardware. I don't like how everything slides around in the bed with them though. It is true that they trap water underneath and will wear through the paint in spots. And you should pull them every one in a while to clean and touch up where needed.

For $20 more, you can Herculine the bed and be done with it. Your truck, your call.

He lowered the price down to 50. It's brand new. Has all mounting hardware for it. It's about a 45 min drive one way for me.

I have one just like this and its ideal. IMO It looks much better then the under the rail drop in bed liners and better then the spray or roll on kind too. Having a ranger without this bed liner is like having a ranger without fender flares it looks ok but you can tell something is missing. Regarding the scratching from the bed liner it absolutely scratches the paint so be prepared for that but to me it was worth it.

This falls under the "you get what you pay for" category.
There are cheap roll-ons - herculiner & the like - some people have had good results. I used herculiner once. I found it didn't adhere too well, and after a couple of years it had "thinned out". Didn't really peel off, but it started looking like I had held an aerosol can a couple of feet away and misted the bed with black paint. Prep work is key on a DIY kit. I suspect I didn't sand the bed well enough. But, it was a PITA to prep, and I wouldn't want to go thru that again, personally. If you use a DIY kit, use it in a WELL ventilated area. Trust me, LoL!
Monstaliner and Raptor kits are a bit more expensive, but supposedly better. Again, prep is key.

I myself have an appointment in a couple of weeks for Rhino Lining. $500 is WAY more than a herculiner kit, but with a lifetime warranty and fantastic reputation, I'm willing to pay the markup.

Also, I'm not too sure why the mods decided this was an "off-topic" thread. Seems more like an exterior thread to me. Like all the other bedliner threads. You will likely see fewer responses since it's mis-categorized now.
