we have to keep them away from the houses out here. they are so bad. they've learned that new houses out here are likely to have house pets, which make easy prey. we all would hate for them to get real ballsy and grab a kid. i know i know, probly never happen

but, yeah, plus 1 on eating what you kill! that's how it spost to be

You don't eat coyote unless you are desperate, they taste like shit.

Alright thanks guys, I figure I will either use my AR-15 or my 6mm on them. I figured a .30 cal would be a bit much especially since I will probably be selling the pelt as well and don't want it destroyed.

oh cool! i didn't know there was a market for coyote pelt.

my dad's favorite coyote shooters are the 22mag and his ar-15 actually

edit: ah gotcha. i wish Oklahoma would do the same to manage them here.

Yeah there is a market. Right now for a good pelt you are looking at about $25 a piece. That is out here at least.
