yep - i was doing 100hr weeks (average) when natural gas was booming. basically i sacrificed everything for my 8hrs of sleep each night. come home - do laundry - make a lunch for the next day - sleep. getting up was pretty difficult after a few months of that

i broke my leg (partly due to fatigue, and partly cause the lead man was being a dick), so i took the opportunity to GTFO!

often it was 16hr/day - 7 days/week. just enough time to get about 6hrs of sleep & stop at the c-store and get enough shitty hotbox food for the rest of the day

So, that's why i say 'thank you' to the rig hands out there, each time i heat the house with natural gas, and each time i fill my tank with petro!

I'm averaging about 12 hours a day, but only 5 days a week, and I *usually* sleep between 12pm and 5pm.

I usually always have the racoon eyes going on.

So next week I'll be buying the other upper control arm for my Ranger. My paycheck will be better than expected, so I'm thinking about buying the lower ball joints and renting the tool to replace those as well.

Problem is I don't plan on keeping this truck past a couple of more months, so I really don't want to replace parts that aren't necessarily bad.
