I'm gonna go into this thinking positive. If it does work out, you better believe I'm gonna include her little girl into everything we do.

She then replied "Well, it's not like I care or anything. " I laughed and said "Yea, sure."
Then, when one of her coworkers was giving me my bag, she said "That's not my number." I looked at the coworker puzzled, and then I looked at the receipt taped to the bag, and sure enough, there was Ashley's number. I didn't even see her write it on there. I looked at the coworker and said I know exactly whose number it is.lol. Before I walked out, Ashley made sure she stood by the door, and I picked up on the hint. I walked behind her, nudged her on her shoulder and told her "Have a great day stranger."
Once I find my cell phone, I'll send her a text and see where things go.

That is awesome!!!

Shaun, go for it dude. I got in a situation like that and in the grand scheme of things it didn't matter. If you two have things in common, like each other, then the rest will fall into place.
If she is worth it, it will work!

Thanks for the re-assurance guys!
I've just never been in this situation before so it's completely new to me.

I have, I was 23-24 and she was 32. She had a kid, which I didn't know about for a while and (we weren't boyfriend & girlfriend), we were just friends with .
I could have seen myself marrying her but I found out about a few other things which ended it
Like I said, test the water and see where it takes you.

Re: FRF Watercooler / BS Thread VIII
Well she's only 21, and I'm almost 20, so she's not THAT much older than I am.
I'm just not sure what she'll think when she realizes I'm still 19.

Dude that's not that bad at all, only two years is nothing. And go for it, include her little girl like you are planning on, and don't give a shit about what your mom thinks.

Damn, sounds better than what I did this morning. Spent and hour driving to a site then 1 1/2 hours in a meeting, then 1 1/2 driving back cause some ass hat on the freeway decided it would be a good idea to wreck and fuck up everyone's day. Left at 7 this morning didn't get back till 11 which is 20 min ago.
I would have liked a 6 AM bike ride better.

Well, it's pretty much at a stand still. I'll be buying a set of valve covers and a front timing chain cover here shortly, but other than some paint work on those parts and the oil pan, that will be it.
I need to start funneling money towards the Ranger again. I'm not very comfortable with the front suspension, and I need to tackle a few of the leaks as well as change out fluids.
Unlike Preston, I won't be selling the Ranger.
JK Preston.
