I think i need to take you for a ride in my fathers 10' FX4. The thing rides better than my mothers highlander.

ford has the 3.7 v6 302hp/278lb/ft, ecoboost 3.5 365hp 420lb/ft, 5.0v8 360hp 380lb/ft and 6.2 v8 411hp 434lb/ft.

My truck sunk in a ditch during plowing, called a towtruck and it was a 09 2500 silverado. He put the truck in 4x4 and started driving up the hill and the drive shaft snapped off right at the transmission.

This guy had the same problems ^^

i dont trust ANY of the new ford motors...but the 5.3 and 6.0 Vortec have been used for years and have a very good track record and im willing to bet that guy who snapped the driveshaft was doing something wrong

Just in time...... My boss's truck that i also drive from time to time is a 2001 Gmc Sierra with the 6.0 vortec has 270,000 miles and the only thing he has done to it is change the oil + fluids as suggested, the tires, a couple alternators while plowing, and a brake line that rusted out. All original, might not be the prettiest inside or out but it still runs and drives like almost brand new
